The Center for Religion, Arts, and Culture (C-RAC) exists to cultivate creative self-actualization and freedom, while holding space for critical exploration of the ways religion, art, and culture shape our civic and communal pursuits.

Every Tuesday - Connecting Conversations
Everyone is invited to join us for weekly conversations from 6:00-8:00pm. We move around the building each week, so enter Door #1 and follow the signs to our location for the evening.
The Testimony Service with Ebony Chappel & Sarah Jené
On August 13th, we got our praise on with "The Testimony Service: When The Praises Go Up” a gospel inspired day party. "The Testimony Service: Celebrating 50 Years of Hip Hop" was featured on the closing day of BUTTER over Labor Day weekend. The final Testimony Service of the year was a two-night, Spirit & Place Festival event held at Broadway on November 10th & 11th. Watch for 2024 Testimony Services to be announced soon.


"Finding Your Center" Pottery Workshops
Watch for more workshops soon. Each 4-week pottery workshop and conversation happens on Saturdays from 1:00-3:00pm in the Pottery Studio at Broadway (Room 306) .

Sustainable Justice Showcase (August 12, 2023)
Event presented in association with IUPUI's Social Justice Scholars education program. This FREE event, was open to those of all ages and backgrounds! We honored seven Central Indiana Social Justice Agents and celebrated culture and life together!
Salvatore Pronesti was in Concert (February 3, 2023)

On Friday, February 3rd, at 6:00pm, The Center for Religion, Arts, and Culture at Broadway United Methodist Church welcomed Italian Concert Organist, Salvatore Pronestì. Signore Pronestì will be playing the music of Italian composers. He is also skilled in the art of Improvisation and was joined by Broadway’s Organist in Residence, Wolff Von Roos, to play some duet improvisations on various themes submitted by the in-person audience! This event was part of Broadway UMC’s 150th Anniversary Celebration.
Juneteenth Celebration (June 18, 2023)
Interactive, multi-generational celebration of Juneteenth was held on Sunday, June 18th (in preparation for the holiday on June 19th) in Backstage at Broadway at 11:15am. The program included music, drama, poetry, and a shared meal.
Testimony Service (November 12, 2022)

Event presented in partnership with Spirit & Place, The Learning, Tree, and BU Wellness. Wonderful night of music, testimonies, a meal, and conversations focused on the theme of Identity.
