Pastor Aaron started today's service by saying: "I wish I could pretend everything is ok, and hide, but I can’t.  You can’t.  We can’t, because the stakes are too high for us, for our neighbors, and for the world that God has created and loves."

Today we heard words from the prophet Isaiah who says no weapons will prosper against God‘s people, but right now it sure feels that way.  But the good news is even when political leaders and brainwashed followers mock the ways of Jesus to his face with moves right out of the fascist playbook propped up by White Christian nationalism, God is still faithful. God is still the God of all nations. God is still the God of all people. God is still the God of love and peace and justice. And today we gathered showing where our true allegiance lies —not with the brutality of this administration, but with the goodness of our great God and with all our human neighbors who God has created and loves.
