The Celebration Worship Team kicked off our first week on the theme of praying in the midst of challenging times. How exactly do you pray for your enemies (especially when you don't want to or even think they "deserve" it)? We grappled with this question in community and spent time praying together aloud all at the same time. It reminded us of the reality that even when we do not fully understand how prayer "works" or how to pray for our enemies, God is at work among us in the process and offering hope in the midst of difficult days.
