13th Sunday After Pentecost

Jesus said, "...whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” You may have heard this passage from Matthew's Gospel before and been a bit confused because it seems like we get to decide which things get bound and which things get loosed (and you may have even heard preachers tell you that). However, when we use our own thoughts, feelings, and experiences as the standard for everyone else, we can easily get ourselves into trouble. In this message, Pastor Aaron reminds us to get into the flow of God's Kindom ways of peace, love, mercy, forgiveness, reconciliation, and justice because when we do God blesses us and bears good fruit in and through us for all creation.
