15th Sunday After Pentecost

This week Jesus reminds the Pharisees, Scribes, and all of us, that evil intentions spring from within us, and we should all be careful not to focus ourselves on minor matters (like hand washing or other religious rituals) while neglecting the more important commands of God to love neighbors with compassionate care.
