8th Sunday After Pentecost

Fear and anxiety often leads us into a focus on self and tries to convince us that we have to make it all on our own.  But Jesus wants us to experience the alternative to greed and self absorption.  The alternative to living lives consumed by excessive accumulation and overflowing silos is living and trusting in the abundance of God and God’s provision for all of creation.
